| Ok, my system did the automatic update of the operating system to 10.4.10... And now I can't play Halo. I'll get the main option screen, the first halo screen, it goes black..... And stays black. I can hear the monks singing their hymns, moving the mouse I can hear the options click when I hover over them, but still cannot see them. Halo(full game) is fine. Which sucks. Gonna try re-downlaoding the demo and see if that fixes anything. Has anyone else experienced this? | |

| AH yes. I'm sorry to say my friend, but hardware shaders will no longer work for you. After pressing command p to open halo, you must turn the shaders off. You now have sucky visuals, but at lease you can play. Welcome to my world, the world of vertex shaders only. | |

| The shaders were off already just to speed it up a little, The screen went totally black. I tried deleting and re-Installing the demo, which actually worked.
All's working fine now, This happend before after an OS update, my Adobe Premeire, Final Cut and After Effects programs wouldn't work properly until Adobe/Apple released patches for the progs affected by the update.

| How much is it for the intel you want to buy ? I think apple's computers are too expensive... Even through they're really great many people can't have a mac because they can't afford it... | |

| For what I need Work-wise (rendering/power) I need the quad drive, with about a TeraByte of processing memory, as well as Graphics cards and what have you, Final Cut Pro Keyborad, Studio speakers, Widescreen monitor, secondary monitor. Last price I recieved from Apple (With Business Discounts) was about €6,300!!!
Of course, If my tv prog pilot gets off the ground and commissioned, that'll be a pinch to get!
